A line of Mustangs stretched more than a half mile down the street and around the corner when the gates opened at 9am at the first-ever AmericanMuscle Car Show and Charity Event on Sunday July 19th. As staff from the nation's largest online seller of Mustang parts welcomed each car with a slew of freebies from T-shirts to raffle tickets, a parade of polished paint and chrome rolled down Lee Blvd. in Malvern, PA.
Approximately 30 minutes east of Philly, the AmericanMuscle.com car show drew 150 of the region's museum-quality modified Mustangs, and more than 1,000 Ford fans to check out the action. With three vintage Mach 1s, a pair of original Shelbys and loads of recent rides dressed up and dialed in for maximum performance and visual impact it was a feast for the Mustang lover's eyes.
Setting the tone for the show, besides the many Mustangs of course, were the AmericanMuscle Girls who talked, laughed and posed for pictures with the crowd all day long. The AmericanMuscle logo stretched across their fronts, while the back of their tanks read only, "Show Me Your Muscle". The way we figure it, with all the raw horsepower on the AM lot, the AM Girls should have been more than satisfied.
Also setting a unique tone for the day were the many AmericanMuscle staffers on hand to make sure everything at the show went smoothly, and that everyone was a having a great time. It seemed no matter where you turned there was a black AM Staff shirt staring back at you, something we found quite nice after attending several less organized shows.AmericanMuscle.com recognized the best of the best in their Best in Show competition. AmericanMuscle judges closely examined every car before settling on Tony Massimano's fully-custom '69 Mach 1 for top prize. Here's a breakdown of the rest of the winners:

Trophy or no trophy, everyone in attendance was digging deep to buy raffle tickets and a shot at winning just one of the $4,000 worth of premium Mustang parts from many of our favorite manufacturers like SCT, Hawk, Roush, Eibach, aFe, BBK, MagnaFlow, Maximum Motorsports and more.
Hoping to raise $5,000 for Homes for Our Troops, a charity that builds, buys or renovates homes for disabled veterans, AmericanMuscle announced that 100 percent of all proceeds would go to the charity. That's proceeds, not profit. Every dollar they were handed was given to the cause. At the end of the day when the money from raffle tickets, T-shirts, and food sales was added to the company's individual employee contributions, AmericanMuscle.com wrote a check to Homes for Our Troops for an awesome $8,015.
Adding to the number, the gang from Garden State Region Mustang Club threw in a check for $850, and an anonymous AmericanMuscle supplier threw down another $500 bringing the grand total donation to $9,365-a lot for any charity event; even more for a company's very first car show.
