In the other Showdown bracket classes, the event finals came down to two drivers who had already won in 2008 with Kenny Klinger and S.D. Wheeler squaring off against each other. Klinger received the handicap in the race by virtue of a slower dial-in, but a slower reaction time and a 12.051 breakout from his 12.08 dial meant yet another victory for Wheeler, who wrapped up his second class championship in three years. Tough Truck saw number 10 qualifier Adam Wiley gain some bragging rights as he defeated newly crowned season champ Paul Gamino in the finals with the help of an awesome 0.006 reaction time.
